Good resources are hard to find sometimes. But hidden among the books of fluff and folly that crowd out most Christian bookshops, are these little gems. It is a series of books called Tales That Tell The Truth. They follow different Bible stories (or a biblical theology in one case) and draw out some glorious themes that point to Jesus. They are well-illustrated and easy to follow. They will enrich your kids, and yourself as you read them – giving you good insights into how to speak about forgiveness, death, and a whole lot more.
They are prime for kids in early primary school (all puns intended) – but you could definitely read them with older preschool kids or older Primary school kids as well. They can be a little pricey, but they are worth their weight in gold! A few months back, around Christmas, I did an impulse buy of these books. And I haven’t regretted it. And neither has my wife, may I add. But you don’t need to impulse buy, because consider reading this post as your research into quality books at the cheapest price.
